1
Long Snappers
Snappers showcase first, then snap live to punters and kickers — evaluated on speed, accuracy, and consistency under pressure.
2
Punters
Directional punting to the numbers, placement 2 yards out of bounds. Every situation covered — backed up to the end zone to flip punts inside the 10. Punters also hold for field goals.
3
Kickers — Field Goals
Consistency is the standard. Three field goals in a row on sticks, then ten charted field goals with live operations.
4
Kickers — Kickoffs
Six kick-offs from the 35-yard line, all charted and clocked. Distance, hang time, and placement are all on record.

  • March 29th: Free training camp for all participants (1pm–3pm)
  • On and off film review included both days
  • Snap-and-hold work with live long snapper

  • Game situations — not just isolated drills
  • South Florida Division grand opening on Day 2

Meet the Coaches

Mike McCabe
Mike McCabe
Founder · Atlanta, Birmingham, Millbrook
NFL Evaluator 20+ Years All-American Punter

Mike McCabe is the owner and founder of One On One Kicking, operating out of Millbrook (AL), Birmingham (AL), and Atlanta (GA). He is one of the top high school, college, and NFL evaluators for specialists in the country.

Since 2001, Coach McCabe has trained hundreds of punters, kickers, and specialists, helping them earn scholarships across every level of college football. In 2012, Ryan Allen and Cairo Santos — that year's Ray Guy and Lou Groza Award winners for top punter and kicker in the country — were both trained by One On One Kicking. It was the first time a single facility had trained both award winners in the same year.

McCabe has trained dozens of professionals in the NFL and CFL, hundreds of All-Americans and National Champions at the college level, and thousands of All-State specialists in high school. One of the most cited examples of his work is Johnny Hekker, who came in as a walk-on at Oregon State and went on to set multiple NFL records and earn multiple Pro Bowl selections with the Los Angeles Rams.

He has been featured on ESPN, CBS, NBC, FOX Sports, the Players Tribune, Rivals, and Scout, and has spoken at the annual AFCA conference. Prior to an NCAA rule change in 2017, he was among the first specialist instructors at college camps at Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, and Louisville, among others.

McCabe is a former All-American punter at Illinois State University under Urban Meyer. He had a brief professional career with the Chicago Bears and the World League of American Football before coaching at the college and high school levels, including Miami (OH), Miami (FL), Prattville High School (AL), and Florence High School (AL).

Brett Swenson
Brett Swenson
Coach South Florida
All-Big Ten Lou Groza Finalist Indianapolis Colts

Brett Swenson is one of the most accomplished kickers in Michigan State University history. Over four seasons (2006–2009), he became the program's all-time leader in field goals (70), extra points (158), and total points scored (368) — the most career points by any active FBS player at the time of his graduation.

In 2009, Swenson went 18-of-20 on field goals (.900) to lead the Big Ten, ranked first in the conference in scoring at 8.4 points per game, tied a school record with 76 consecutive extra points, and hit two 52-yard field goals in the same game. He was named First-Team All-Big Ten, Team MVP (the first kicker in MSU history to win the award), and Lou Groza Award Semifinalist that season.

He earned First-Team Freshman All-American honors in 2006 and was ranked a top-5 national kicking prospect by both Rivals and Scout out of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale. He participated in the 2010 Senior Bowl and signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent — regarded as one of the top kicking prospects in his draft class.

His career numbers — 70 field goals, 158 extra points, 368 career points — placed him fourth all-time in Big Ten history in field goals at the time of graduation. He tied and set multiple MSU school records across his four seasons.
